Using ChatGPT to Automate Label Annotations in Social Computing

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence have shown that language models, such as ChatGPT, have the potential to replace human intelligence. This paper investigates whether ChatGPT can be used to automate label annotations in social computing tasks. By doing so, this technology has the potential to significantly reduce the complexity and cost of research in this field.
