Efficient Control Scheme for Wind Power Generation Systems
In this study, we propose an efficient control scheme for wind power generation systems based on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators (PMSG). The proposed scheme provides coordinated Low-Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) and High-Voltage Ride-Through (HVRT) control, which ensures safe and smooth operation of the system under both normal and abnormal grid conditions. The scheme uses a combination of Active Power Control (APC), Reactive Power Control (RPC), and Voltage Control (VC) techniques to adjust the generator output to meet the grid requirements. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated through simulation results.
