An improved optoelectronic oscillator scheme for an optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) system based on cascaded Mach–Zehnder modulator (MZM) and polarization modulator (PolM) is experimentally investigated. The system can simultaneously realize clock recovery and demultiplexing. With the MZM
