Efficient Compression Technique for Point-to-Point Geodesic Information
Efficient computation of geodesic distances between points on a 3D mesh surface is crucial for various geometry processing tasks. However, traditional methods for computing these distances on demand are known to be inefficient. In this study, we present a novel approach for compact storage of geodesic distance information, which allows for fast and efficient point-to-point geodesic distance queries.
