The Responsible Labor Initiative (RLI) continues to support its members by adjusting and developing its due diligence methods and tools, as well as ensuring continued engagement with expanding stakeholder communities. Additionally, RLI membership and partnerships grew and diversified in the past year, enhancing our ability to effect positive change in this crucial area. To help support the development of RLI, we also launched an independent website for the program. Major achievements for RLI in 2021 include: measuring progress towards strategic priorities, releasing standards and guidelines towards more reliable investigations and recruitment fee reimbursements to workers, introducing membership levels within RLI to encourage more comprehensive supply chain due diligence and accountability, and advancing responsible employment and recruitment through regional programs.
