DDR2 SDRAM is a new kind of mass memory developed from DDR SDRAM and is becoming popular,and will be adopted by lots of designs which need high speed access memory.In this article the based character of DDR2 SDRAM is introduced,then the main structures and design anamnesis of a DDR2 controller is discussed as well as its simulation and validation on Stratix EP2S30F672C3.Also some key points is given in realization on the FPGA,The last result showed the feasibility of design.
