layer,theMACisthelowestpossiblelayerto

standardizeinthesoftwareforcommunicationprotocols.

ThisapplicationnotedefinestheMicrochipMAClayer,

MiMAC,forcommunicationprotocolsandtransceivers

supportedbyMicrochipforshort-range,lowdatarate

andlow-powerwirelessapplications.
