Abstract:AnIP-basednetworkedsensormonitorcaneasilybecreatedthroughthecombinationoftheTinyInternetInterfaces(MxTNI™)platform,1-Wire®sensors,andtheappropriateJava™software.TheMxTNIplatformprovidestheTCP/IPnetworkstackandthelocalcontrolcapabilitiesrequiredtodesignIP-based,networkedsensors.TheincludedJavaruntimeenvironmentandthe1-Wireperipheralinterfacelibrary,allowforeasycontrolandcommunicationsusing1-Wiredevices.
