Analysis of Corrugated Long Period Gratings in Planar Waveguides and Their Polar

We present a theoretical analysis of corrugated long-period gratings in planar waveguides. In particular, we calculate the transmission spectra for both the TE and TM polarizations and highlight the polarization-independence conditions.
