Open Drawing Alliance ActiveX Control, DWGdirectX Version 0.95This archive contains version 0.95 of the new Open Drawing Alliance ActiveX control, DWGdirectX (formerly ODX 3.0). To use the new control, run the setup.exe program, which will install and register DWGdirectX. Then add “OdaToolkit 1.0 Type Library” to your references lis t in VB.Improvements in This Release This version is more stable than the previous release, and a number of client reported bugs have been fixed. Linetype loading is now working. Zoom to extents functionality is now working, which will allow you to create a drawing and then adjust the view so that the drawing opens in autocad zoomed to its current extents. The Layer property for entities is now supported. The ActiveLayout property for a document is now supported. A Delphi example program has been added.This version has been tested with VB 6, and Delphi 6.The Examples directory contains the following sample programs:VBConverter* - Example VB application that demonstrates file loading, recovering, saving, and auditing.VBWriteEx* - Example VB application that demonstrates how to add objects to a drawing.VBStep2Sample* - Example VB application that demonstrates how to access data in a drawing.Delphi* - Example Delphi application that demonstrates how to load and save a drawing, traverse the database, etc.Documentation Currently we do not have any documentation for DWGdirectX other than the provided sample applications.
